Barnstable Academy is a college-preparatory school in a warm and supportive environment. We specialize in working with learners who will benefit from a relationship-first teaching approach in a small classroom setting that provides social and emotional support in addition to academic excellence. We offer college-preparatory, honors, and AP level courses. Additionally, we have specialized executive functioning courses, our Accent reading program (taught by our reading specialist, trained in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, and Wilson reading systems), and 1:1 teaching for gifted learners, or learners who need extra academic support in certain subjects.
