Rocky Mountain College, often abbreviated as RMC, is a small school in a residential section of Billings, Montana. Undergraduates can choose from about 50 majors, and graduate learners can earn master’s degrees in accountancy, education leadership or physician assistant studies. RMC helps learners make the most of their studies through the career services office, which enables them to perfect résumés and explore internship and job opportunities. At RMC, learners can get involved in many campus activities, including dances, bowling nights, concerts and even stress-relieving massages during finals week.
As Montana’s biggest city, Billings also has a lot to offer, such as museums, theaters and a zoo. Many RMC learners take advantage of Yellowstone National Park, which is just 90 minutes from campus. The school offers opportunities to go skiing, rafting, backpacking, kayaking and rock climbing often for class credit. More traditional athletes can play intramural sports or compete with the Battlin Bears varsity teams in the Frontier Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
