For a dose of reality, freshman can familiarize themselves with the Marist Mindset List, which originated at Beloit College and summarizes the worldview of each year’s incoming class. Produced by the Marist School of Liberal Arts and the original co-founders, the list details things that have “always” or “never” been true in the first-year learners’ lifetimes. To get involved on campus, learners can choose from more than 80 clubs and student organizations, including Greek life and student government.
